 Through proactive education, discharge planning, medication management, and follow-up coordination, I help employees avoid unnecessary hospital admissions and costly readmissions — two major drivers of high insurance claims and absenteeism.

 I assist employees in understanding their medications, preventing dangerous (and costly) medication errors that can result in hospitalizations, emergency visits, or long-term health complications.

Q & A

Do patient advocates need a license?  No, there is no formal licensing required, however, there is a certification that demonstrates competency in the field. 


What is the difference between an independent patient advocate and a hospital/insurance advocate? Unlike hospital advocates, an independent advocate is private pay, so my alliance is with you. An advocate supplied by the hospital or insurance company will ultimately have their employer's interest at heart, first and foremost.
